In order to officially confirm your order and reserve your date/s, I need a completed online order form and your deposit (if order is made more than two weeks out), or payment in full (if order is made less than two weeks out).
Knead + Want creates all sorts of wedding cakes and desserts for your special day, small or large. After reviewing your wedding inquiry, I will be in touch with you regarding availability, pricing, and design. If needed, a tasting can be arranged in which the cost will be applied to your final cake/dessert price.

All weddings booked with K+W will receive a 4-inch, 2 layer anniversary cake for free, your choice of fillings and flavors. Available for pickup only.
Welcome to Knead + Want! I’ve been baking for about 15 years and am mostly self-taught. My background is in psychology, teaching, and corporate training (that’s my full-time gig!), but baking has been a passion and stress reliever of mine for a long time now. I specialize in custom cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and “brunch goods” as I call them. I was born and raised in Stamford, CT, but moved to Ridgefield with my husband, two kids, and pup in the spring of 2020. In my limited free time, I love to run, garden, spend time with my family, and read.
K+W is a licensed cottage food operation in the state of Connecticut (I bake out of my home kitchen), founded in 2018. It is ServSafe certified which means I am certified in all proper safety protocols for my kitchen and food service. Delivery and pickup are available for all baked goods, but due to the type of license I have, I cannot ship. Sorry!
While I am able to make most of my products "allergy-friendly", I do use peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, dairy, soy, and egg in my kitchen regularly. Please contact me directly if you have any questions.
